“Sitting in a coffee bar on Kings road, nursing a champagne fuelled hangover, I watched as people browsed the records on display outside the shop next door. One record sleeve caught my eye. Herbie Mann. “Herbie,” I thought. I’d already scribbled “Frog” somewhere. Put the two together, added an extra ‘g’, and there it was. Herbie Frogg. People thought it was mad, and that made me like it even more.”
